I’m Preeti, a lawyer turned poet.
I’m also a facilitator and educator.
My work creates space for individuals, teams and communities to step deeper into their stories, their voices and their creativity. Through writing workshops, arts-based facilitation and my literary projects, I explore how language can return us to our imaginations and invite us into deeper connection with ourselves, oneness and each other.
With 20 years of experience, I founded Write with Preeti, a creative facilitation and writing education practice rooted in principles of equity, embodiment and artistic rigour. My workshops range from craft development to resilience, health and wellness. I help teams build trust, shared culture and more effective working relationships. I also help people develop their creative capacities and explore new ideas. I’ve designed and delivered offerings for a wide range of audiences, including law schools (students and staff), community organizations, businesses, school boards, non-profits, arts festivals and more.
My creative practice spans poetry, prose and performance. I was the 2025 Poet in Residence at Upstart & Crow, and my poetry collection is forthcoming with Brick Books.
